Lions,Tigers and Bears! – My first day in IT training was tons of fun.

I’ve volunteered to help seniors with IT problems and questions and today was the first session. Lovely people, nice setting and I was able to help a few people my first time out. But I have a lot to learn. My ‘boss’ couldn’t believe that I didn’t use Excel, for instance. So, here I go learning about Excel (or a variant) in order to send her my volunteer hours.

Apple products are also fairly new to me. I have an older Mac Mini but it’s so slow! It’s all the same as the new ones, I guess but with only 4 gigs of RAM it’s like molasses in January. I might get a newer MacBook but not an iPhone. Far too expensive but now I see there is something called an iPhone SE. Ah, this feels like I’m about to go down a rabbit hole! It’s all good though because I own Apple stock. Maybe the dividends and stock splits will pay for the new equipment. But hey, it’s all for a good cause.

Computers can be very frustrating, that’s why I started this site. Seniors face stresses in all areas of their lives. If I can help some of the people lower their stress levels, then it’s worth it.

Comment below if you need help or just to say hi.
